DAN ANDERSON
Dan Anderson's contemporary iconography either in both form or image provides a humorous and insightful approach to ceramic vessel making. Use of ceramic stains, glazes, decals, under-glazes and sandblasting the surface on traditional wood fired surfaces lends that unique counterpoint to both old and new tradition to his work. Dan's hand-built and wheel thrown constructions as in "Purina Chows" provides a new and fresh interpretation to the very stayed teaset/tea ceremony.
