Doug Casebeer

Plinth Gallery in RiNo is proud to present internationally-renowned ceramic artist Doug Casebeer in “A Sense of Place: The Long View”, June 7-July 27, 2024. He searches for meaning in the relationships between the ideas of storage, shelter, and nourishment, looking for beauty, balance and grace, and trys to come to an understanding of himself and the world around him.

Casebeer teaches, lectures, builds kilns and exhibits his artwork worldwide. He is currently Resident Artist at The University of Oklahoma, in Norman, OK, but maintains a studio in Snowmass, Colorado where he was the Associate Director and Artistic Director for Ceramics at the Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Colorado for 34 years. He has served as pottery consultant to the United Nations and the German government.
